Perfect for the Holidays


CranPecan Pie


Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup dark corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
dash salt
1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
1 cup pecan halves
pastry for single-crust pie
Instructions

In medium bowl beat eggs with a fork just until blended. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter and salt. Sprinkle cranberries in pastry shell, then arrange pecan halves atop. Pour syrup mixture carefully over pecans. Bake at 325F for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edges comes out clean. Cool.

 

Tried this one recently. We liked it--it's a nice twist on an old classic, although I still loooove your standard pecan pie!
