Successful Blogging for Business

Well, it's time to return a library book that I've borrowed, but I wanted to note down some of the most important information for later reference.

Guidelines for Successful Blogs

DO

  1. Read other blogs, remembering that you are a part of a community of bloggers.
  2. Write passionately about your company, its products and services.
  3. Put other employees on display.
  4. Focus on a particular theme and audience.
  5. Keep posts short for the most part.
  6. Link, link, link.

DON'T

  1. Pitch product or sales in a blog.
  2. Post in haste--you may regret it later.

Nutrition and Phytochemicals

I have been trying to learn more about nutrition recently. I'm going to record some of the high points of what I learn here so I have them to refer back to, and maybe someone else will find it helpful Cool.

So here goes...

Phytochemicals

First of all...What are they?.... chemicals found in plants--may contribute to a reduced risk of cancer or cardiovascular disease when ingested regularly

Next...How can you get some?

Free eCookbook!

There is now a free eCookbook posted at the Recipe Riot website! It is called "5 Things to Do with Potatoes" and has 5 unique recipes to help you fix potatoes in different ways.  It is formatted in the same way that all the other eCookbooks are formatted.--in the universally readable PDF format. PDF is also great because it saves formatting and lets you print it out just as I created it without needing special fonts or settings. Hope you enjoy!
