A New Recipe!

Cider Vinaigrette

Author American Heart Association Low-Salt Cookbook, 3rd Edition: A Complete Guide to Reducing Sodium and Fat in Your Diet

Serving size 2 tablespoons


Ingredients
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoons plus 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 1/2 teaspoons sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions

Combine all ingredients and shake well. Refrigerate until needed.

8 servings, 2 tablespoons each

Protein 0 g

 

We tried this recipe recently and loved it. It's much better for you than most commercial salad dressings, and in my opinion, tastier too.
